I was the same age as these characters in the 90s, so there is some nostalgic appeal. This is a decent show for watching with your kids although they wont get many of the references. I didnt care about the movie itself, but the TV show is way better than the movie. The characters are surprisngly not too annoying and some of the writing is kind of funny. Its worth a watch if you have kids, it might be worth a try if you dont.
edit: changed my mind, after finishing its really good although the very last scene is an odd way to end the season, but assuming it gets a second season, doesnt change the quality of the show.
