If you're someone attracted to this series for the hope of quality Sapphic or queer content (because of the trailer and marketing), this is to warn you and let you know that most of the so-called queer content is simply queer bait because the ending is blatantly lesbophobic. To sum up the ending of the only main queer "relationship" in the series without giving away spoilers, the writers (Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain) conclude that love between two women is a monstrous tempting abomination whose "cure" is the traditional conservative family led by a man. This really disappointed me although I had it coming to expect any different from a show made for Fox. There were only a couple of decent episodes in the first and second season but, in my opinion, they're not worth the pain and suffering you'll experience going through the rest. There's just too much homophobia, American imperialist and anticommunicst propaganda, sexism, heteronormative stereotyping, and even racism to make this one worth watching. The people calling it "woke" only do so because of the diverse cast in the series which (although a positive that made me endure the series) was no doubt used to try to make all the aforementioned problems palatable to those attentive enough to notice them. I regret wasting so much time on this so please save yours.
