Oh dear, "Midnight Mirror" is a horror film that should have been left in the dark. Directed by Lu Shilei in 2025, this movie is a nightmare, but not in the way it intended. The production quality is so bad it's almost comical. It looks like it was made with a budget smaller than your average pizza party. The special effects are so poorly done that they're more distracting than scary. It's like watching a group of friends try to make a movie with their smartphones, except without the charm.
