There’s an air of American Psycho about this award-winning short. We have access to the inner workings of Missy’s mind with self-narrated diary entries. Her compulsion to kill takes over all other sensibilities, as she forever chases the initial high of hunting her first victim.
Alison O’Leary is wonderful in her leading role. Despite the dark nature of her actions, she portrays Missy with an air of likeability and charm that is impossible to resist.
