My Boo turns the usual ghost story into a light romantic fantasy, following Joe as his inherited house leads him to Anong, a charming spirit who changes his life. Though some CGI feels uneven and the pacing quickens near the end, it remains a sweet and heartfelt watch that values tenderness over terror.
