香港警察の型破りな刑事エディ（ジャッキー・チェン）は、伝説の聖なるメダルを狙う密輸犯罪組織の首領スネークヘッド（ジュリアン・サンズ）を追っていた。メダルの力で死者を甦らせ、超人的な力を得るという秘密を解き明かしたスネークヘッドは、鍵を握る少年ジャイ（アレクサンダー・バオ）を誘拐し、アイルランドへ連れ去る。エディはインターポールのワトソン（リー・エヴァンス）や元恋人のニコル（クレア・フォラーニ）と共にジャイを救出しようと奮闘するが、彼を庇って命を落としてしまう。しかし、ジャイが持つメダルの力で甦ったエディは、超人的な力を得てスネークヘッドとの最終決戦に挑む…。

This action-fantasy-comedy has bad dialogue and a half-baked and uneven plot where even some Chan's martial arts/stuntwork isn't nearly enough to save it, and besides, half of the movie uses some shoddy special effects so his stunts aren't nearly as impressive. On the plus side, the movie is a reminder on Claire Forlani's beauty (acting was only so-so at best). The Medallion has so many hallmarks of the early 2000s style of filmmaking with the choppy editing and lame humor. **1.75/5**
